| Ice carvings and sculptures have become common features of parties but it is a rare opportunity to be given the chance to try your hand at producing an ice masterpiece. The professional sculptor will demonstrate carving techniques on a horse's head, revealing "how it should be done". Following the demonstration, the teams will have the opportunity to "try their hands" at carving to create their very own masterpiece horse's head. Armed with chisels, gloves and goggles, the teams must attempt to produce a fabulous sculpture. Frequently the sculptures that are produced during this challenge will be used as table centres for the dinner that evening. Every time we have run this event the participants are just itching to get at the ice with their hammer and chisel. Everybody gets involved and very animated during this cool challenge. |
